Job Overview:
We are seeking another passionate professional who shares our love of baking. As a Baker at Otis & Belle, you will be responsible for preparing and baking off our fantastic sourdough, other breads and viennoiserie, ready for delivery to our shops and customers. This is a physical role, that suits someone who is happy to work with their own initiative and be self-managed. There will be a crossover with the day baker team and delivery driving team for the final hour of the shift.
If you have a love for baking, a keen eye for detail and happy to work alone most often, then this could be THE job for you!
Duties:
- Preparation and baking off of bread and viennoiserie products that have already been created, shaped and left to prove on trays by our day bakers.
- Ensure the quality and presentation of all food items meets our high standards
- Maintain a clean and organised bakery environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the bakery
Experience:
- Experience necessary, from baker/chef background
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Excellent attention to detail and self-organisational skills
