Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providng plant and materials to sites assisting the civils teams . This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving practices and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate various vehicles, including vans and lorries, to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of products, adhering to weight limits and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type.
- Ideal candidate will have experience opereating Grab Lorry.
- Valid CPC
- Class 2 license
- Completing walk around checks ensuring vehicles are roadworth at all times
