The Opportunity:

The role of the Associate Trader is the execution of OTC and listed derivatives.
Responsibilities:
- Execute trades across a range of OTC and exchange-traded derivatives
- Provide high-quality client service, including performance reporting, analytical insights, and market commentary
- Develop, evaluate, and refine trading strategies to support client and firm objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, compliance, portfolio management, and trading to ensure seamless execution and support
- Partner with IT teams by providing feedback to enhance processes and drive operational efficiency
- Take on additional responsibilities and projects as needed in support of the team and firm goals
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in derivatives and foreign exchange (FX) trading
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Excel
- Preferred programming experience in R, Python, and SQL
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Capable of performing under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong decision-making abilities with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
