Role Purpose


You'll work alongside expert developers and operations leaders to enhance systems our used by both internal and external customers, support users, and support the creation of high-quality data insights that shape strategic decisions. This role suits someone who combines a foundational tech skillset with the drive to improve systems, learn quickly, and work cross-functionally across diverse teams.


Location & Working Arrangements


Based in Dundee with hybrid working enabled once training and competency milestones are met (typically 3 days in-office minimum). Flexibility is available based on project needs and individual performance.

Key Responsibilities


  • Maintain, configure and support internal business systems and applications
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and deliver reporting and analytics requirements
  • Build and maintain dashboards and analytics tools to improve operational visibility
  • Assist in systems enhancements, updates, and documentation practices
  • Escalate and troubleshoot complex technical issues (Level 2/3 support)
  • Partner with finance, operations, and product experts to identify opportunities for system and service improvement
  • Participate in training and stay current with relevant technologies and platforms
  • Contribute to strategic discussions on future technologies and systems innovation


What You'll Bring


Skills & Experience

  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in IT/ Systems, or a related technical field
  • Prior experience in systems/application support or helpdesk environment
  • Proficient in Oracle SQL and relational databases
  • Exposure to scripting languages like PHP, JavaScript, or Python
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort with Microsoft Office suite
  • Clear communicator with problem-solving mindset and keen attention to detail
  • Logical thinker with the ability to work to deadlines in a customer-focused role
