Role Purpose
You'll work alongside expert developers and operations leaders to enhance systems our used by both internal and external customers, support users, and support the creation of high-quality data insights that shape strategic decisions. This role suits someone who combines a foundational tech skillset with the drive to improve systems, learn quickly, and work cross-functionally across diverse teams.
Location & Working Arrangements
Based in Dundee with hybrid working enabled once training and competency milestones are met (typically 3 days in-office minimum). Flexibility is available based on project needs and individual performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, configure and support internal business systems and applications
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and deliver reporting and analytics requirements
- Build and maintain dashboards and analytics tools to improve operational visibility
- Assist in systems enhancements, updates, and documentation practices
- Escalate and troubleshoot complex technical issues (Level 2/3 support)
- Partner with finance, operations, and product experts to identify opportunities for system and service improvement
- Participate in training and stay current with relevant technologies and platforms
- Contribute to strategic discussions on future technologies and systems innovation
What You'll Bring
Skills & Experience
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in IT/ Systems, or a related technical field
- Prior experience in systems/application support or helpdesk environment
- Proficient in Oracle SQL and relational databases
- Exposure to scripting languages like PHP, JavaScript, or Python
- Strong Excel skills and comfort with Microsoft Office suite
- Clear communicator with problem-solving mindset and keen attention to detail
- Logical thinker with the ability to work to deadlines in a customer-focused role
