We trust our Associate Consultants to always perform at a high level of quality and professionalism.

  • Perform extensive Excel analysis and work with structured/unstructured data sets as part of license and usage evaluations.
  • Support internal audits and vendor audits by helping clients understand contractual entitlements and usage rights.
  • Research and interpret product use rights, license models, and publisher-specific licensing metrics.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, including SaaS subscription models, BYOL, cloud consumption licensing, and ISO/ITIL SAM best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for maturing SAM capabilities, such as governance frameworks, policy creation, and process automation.
  • Manage engagement KPIs, including deadlines and project milestones.

Requirements: Experience, Skills, and Characteristics

  • 2–6 years of experience in SAM, software license compliance, or IT asset management, ideally within a consulting or enterprise environment.
  • Academic background: B.Tech / M.Tech/ MCA/ MBA/BS in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Certifications such as CSAM, CHAMP, ITIL, or ISO 19770 are a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with licensing metrics from major vendors (Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, VMware, Autodesk, etc.) and experience conducting license true-ups or audit responses.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, and large data sets.
  • Hands-on experience with SAM tools such as Snow, Flexera, ServiceNow Asset Management, or Lansweeper.
  • Ability to interpret complex licensing models and contractual language.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify compliance gaps and propose remediation or optimization actions.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Highly organized, methodical, with a strong eye for detail and data integrity.
