About the role
Crunchyroll is looking for an Associate Brand Manager to join our team in Europe. The Associate Brand Manager will be an important position within the EMEA region to assist the EMEA Brand Manager in coordinating between regional marketing teams and our content licensors. As an EMEA representative for the Brand Management team, you will help educate the local marketing teams on best-practices when working with licensors and serve as the main contact for regional inquiries and communications between the Brand Management team.
Core Areas of Responsibility
- Work with the EMEA Brand Manager as the main contact and representative for the Brand Management team in the EMEA region, educating and consulting on best practices and project manage important licensor related programs such as local Anime related events, main announcements, theatrical premieres with the Regional marketing team
- Partner with Global Brand Management to support EMEA Regional Marketing teams in coordinating marketing campaigns in the region, providing guidance from the licensor management point of view
- Support approval matters between our internal EMEA teams and our licensors, from promotional proposals to asset approvals as-needed
- Be a local liaison and support on-the-ground coordination and communications between local licensors offices and the Global Brand Management team
- Know your assigned Anime brands (titles) thoroughly to ensure marketing collaborations that resonate with the brand, being a content expert to advise on asset creation and brand-appropriate marketing campaigns
- Maintain relationships with important content partners of Crunchyroll specific to the EMEA Region.
In the role of Associate Brand Manager, EMEA you will report to a Senior Brand Manager from the Global Brand Management Team in the United States.

About You

- You have 1+ years of marketing experience
- You have a Bachelor's degree, Marketing or related field
- You are fluent in English and French, with excellent grammar and spelling
- You have a deep interest in anime
- You can keep track of multiple projects in different stages of completion and progress; you're driven and can own/manage your deliverables without intervention
- You understand how to work with partners from different cultural backgrounds, particularly Japanese business culture
- You are a team player and understand that everyone plays a role on the team and works together to help one another out
- You like to learn new things and look into better ways of making tasks more efficient and ask questions when needed
- You are comfortable stretching and learning outside of your defined role, open to taking on new challenges and tasks
About The Team
Your love for anime and pop culture pushes you to be an excellent teammate. The Brand Management team expects that our streaming and other omni-channels enjoy balanced growth to scale and engage, are attractive to licensors and their representatives, are credible with audiences, and set the pace for the industry. You will partner with our creators/licensors in Japan, and both global and EMEA teams in marketing, communications, content, business development, and product.
Brand Managers work with our content partners and other teams and departments across the entire company. The Brand Management team are the experts for the content available on our service, in addition to being the bridge between our teams at Crunchyroll and our external licensors. Our role is to advocate for the needs of our partners, while also representing the goals of Crunchyroll.
