Financial Crime and Compliance (FC&C) department is responsible for ensuring that all financial crime and compliance risks within the Bank are identified, managed or mitigated. It establishes and maintains the Bank's regulatory communications, compliance risk management, regulatory reporting and compliance advisory. As an Assistant - Financial Crime & Compliance, you will be supporting the department with administration tasks, provide secretariat support to projects, coordinate and arrange events, and act as a main point of contact for other departments and suppliers. This is a full time permanent position.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure the department operates efficiently such as managing expense reimbursements and budget, managing fixed asset, managing the process for new joiners and leavers, and assisting with IT-related tasks
- Support the Secretary of Compliance Committee to fulfil its daily role and act as a cover when the Secretary is absent. Assist with tasks such as preparing agenda, scheduling meetings, collecting and circulating documents, taking minutes and ensuring that the necessary follow up actions are delivered
- Ensure effective and timely internal and external communication
- Familiarise with relevant training systems and support with FC&C training management
- Assist on third party management, maintain a central log of all the suppliers managed by FC&C, liaise with Legal to review suppliers’ contracts, ensure all the invoices are paid in a timely manner, act as contact person for the suppliers
- Assist with drafting and reviewing documents such as presentations and reports
- Support with preparation of regular monthly, quarterly and annual reports
- Collaborate with other teams within FC&C department and liaise with other functions in the Bank as required
- Cover team members as and when required
Requirements
- Degree educated in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Accounting
- Relevant experience in a similar field
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organisational skills including planning and prioritisation
