Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly:
- Assemble office furniture components and products according to detailed work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and efficiently to complete assembly tasks.
- Inspect components and finished products for defects or damage and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Packing:
- Carefully pack assembled products, ensuring all items are securely protected for transport.
- Label packages with correct information, including product details, handling instructions, and shipping information.
- Operate packing equipment, such as shrink wrap machines, tape dispensers, and pallet jacks, to prepare items for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct final inspections of assembled and packed products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Report any quality issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to the Production Supervisor promptly.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Participate in daily team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and plan for upcoming tasks.
- Support other areas of the production floor as needed, including material handling, inventory management, and shipping.
