ARM Design & Build Ltd is a growing architectural and construction practice offering design-led solutions to residential and commercial clients. We pride ourselves on high-quality design, efficient delivery, and excellent customer service.
We are now looking for a third motivated Architectural Designer to join our team. This hybrid role blends creative design work, office and client support, and business development – ideal for a junior professional or graduate looking to build a well-rounded foundation in architectural practice and practice management.
Key Responsibilities
Architectural Design Support
- Prepare planning drawings, CAD models, and presentation materials.
- Assist with project updates, site documentation, and design revisions.
- Help coordinate site surveys and carry out basic project research.
Administrative & Office Duties
- Manage shared emails, calendars, and file organisation (digital & physical).
- Maintain project tracking systems to support deadlines and milestones.
- Provide general admin support including data entry and document formatting.
Client Interaction & Sales Support
- Respond to new client enquiries via phone, email, and website.
- Log and manage sales leads, proposals, and follow-ups.
- Help prepare fee proposals and improve client onboarding processes.
- Support CRM and lead management system (training provided).
Business Development & New Client Acquisition
- Identify and research potential new clients, developers, and contractors.
- Assist in outreach strategies including emails, social media, and networking.
- Maintain a database of prospects and follow up to convert leads.
- Attend local events, exhibitions, or networking opportunities (optional).
- Contribute ideas to marketing and business growth strategies.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of architectural design (students or recent graduates welcome)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Suite (an advantage)
- Well-organised, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
- Professional and confident when engaging with clients or partners
- Must have the right to work in the UK

Pay: £24,420.00 per year
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
Additional pay:
- Commission pay
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
