The Opportunity
We are looking for a Part-Time, Term-Time Apprenticeship Administrator to support the delivery of apprenticeship programmes—primarily at Level 2 and Level 3—across our organisation. This role is ideal for someone with a background in education, training, or administration, who is looking for a flexible working pattern.
You will be a key part of our People Development team, supporting the learner journey from onboarding through to completion, while providing vital administrative support to our Head of Quality and tutoring team.
Key Tasks:
- Learner Pre-Assessments: Coordinate and administer initial assessments for apprentices at Level 2 – Level 7 ensuring timely completion and accurate records.
- Coursework Marking: Support tutors by marking Level 3 learner coursework to a set standard, contributing to timely feedback and learner progress tracking.
- Administrative Support: Provide admin support for the Head of Quality, including document preparation, compliance tracking, and audit readiness.
- Tutor Support: Assist tutors with scheduling, materials preparation, learner communications, and progress tracking documentation.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate learner records, enrolment forms, progress reviews, and assessments using our learning management systems and digital files.
- Reporting: Assist with generating reports for internal stakeholders and training partners on learner progress, deadlines, and compliance status.
- Communication: Liaise with learners to support session scheduling, assignment reminders, and general queries throughout the apprenticeship.
Requirements:
- Experience in administration, preferably within an education, training, or apprenticeship setting.
- Strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Confidence working with learners, tutors, and managers to coordinate key tasks and timelines.
- Basic understanding of assessment practices and scoring of written work against a set matrix (experience marking vocational coursework is highly desirable).
- Strong written communication skills and ability to maintain clear, professional records.
- Competence using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and digital learning platforms.
- A flexible, can-do attitude and the ability to work well as part of a supportive and collaborative team.
