Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Anesthesiologist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of anaesthesia practices and demonstrate exceptional patient care abilities. As an Anesthesiologist, you will be responsible for administering sedation during surgical extractions, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout their treatment. This role requires a commitment to clinical excellence and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
The pay is based on a maximum of 3 hours a day.
Duties
- Administer sedation to patients undergoing surgical procedures, monitoring their vital signs and overall condition throughout the process.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments to evaluate patient health and determine appropriate sedation or anaesthetic plans.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals to develop comprehensive care strategies tailored to individual patient needs.
- Provide post-operative care, managing any complications related to sedation or anaesthesia and ensuring patient recovery is on track.
- Engage in clinical research to advance sedation or anaesthetic techniques and improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of sedation or anaesthetic procedures, patient responses, and any adverse reactions.
- Stay updated on advancements in sedation or anaesthesia practices, public health policies, and relevant medical imaging technologies.
Requirements
- Medical degree with a specialisation in Anaesthesiology.
- Proven experience in medication administration and patient care within various settings including ICU, nursing homes, and home care environments.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to sedation or anaesthetic practice.
- Familiarity with clinical research methodologies is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality senior care while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
