Mercury Air Conditioning Ltd are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Trainee to join our rapidly growing team.
As an ambitious, new and expanding business, the role entails installing and maintaining heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems for a range of projects across a variety of sectors; from small domestic projects to huge scale commercial projects at varying sites across Essex, London and surrounding areas. We are looking for a self- driven, reliable individual with interest to train and excel within the HVAC industry.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist engineers to ensure smooth running installation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems
- Attend sites with engineers to gain knowledge on site surveying
- Take instructions from the office and action as necessary
- With guidance, perform quality checks to ensure systems are working efficiently and safely
Requirements:
- Looking to gain experience and knowledge within all aspects of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems and more specifically with split, multi-split, mini VRV/VRF, heat recovery VRV/VRF
- Own hand tools
- Highly conscientious and well organised
- Willingness to travel to attend sites
- Good written and verbal communication
- Confidence working independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to excel in a highly motivated company who strive to deliver quality projects
Benefits:
- Salary of £20,800 - £28,080
- 40 hour working week 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday with a 60 minute unpaid break
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days plus bank holidays on completion of 5 years continuous service with the company
