Responsible for the safety and well-being of students who are waiting for their parents or guardians after school hours, provide a supportive and supervised environment, and help students transition out of the school setting in a smooth and orderly manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise senior school students in an after-school independent study environment, ensuring a safe and orderly environment.
- Monitor the sign-in and sign-out process to ensure compliance with fire regulations and student safety. Ensure all students are collected by 5:30 pm
- Reporting any repeated late collections.
- Maintain behaviour expectations, addressing and recording poor conduct and reporting to the Senior Deputy Head as necessary.
- Communicate with parents and staff regarding attendance, behaviour, and collection issues, and report any safeguarding concerns in line with school policies.
- You may be required from time to time to support the wider admin team, such as manage student reception for a short period or main reception.
- You may be required to undertake other reasonable duties/training and meetings from time to time as the School may reasonably require.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties within the overall function, commensurate with the grading and level of responsibility for the job.
The post holder is expected to comply with the requirements of Health and Safety, other relevant legislation and school documentation and to understand and comply with the School’s Policy Documents.
