Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing comprehensive administrative support. This position requires proficiency in various office software and excellent communication skills, particularly in phone etiquette. The Administrator will be responsible for managing data entry tasks, maintaining records, and assisting with clerical duties to enhance overall efficiency.
Duties
- Answer and direct phone calls professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date and organised.
- Utilise Google Suite and other office software for document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks , including invoicing and expense tracking.
- Maintain an organised filing system for both physical and digital documents.
- Provide clerical support such as typing correspondence, reports, and other documents as required.
- Coordinate office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Support team members with administrative tasks to enhance productivity across the organisation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive) is essential;
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on professional phone etiquette.
- Competent computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks is crucial.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
