Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office administration and possess excellent computer skills. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, supporting various administrative tasks, and maintaining effective communication within the team.
Inspect and Repair is a family run business who specialises in maintaining and installing play equipment, safety/ LOLER/RPII inspections, court markings and more. We work with leisure & play centres, schools, colleges, military bases & councils across the South West England. Running for just over two years we are growing at a rapid rate and are now looking to hire another administrator part time. Below are brief details on what the job role would entail.
The hours would be 9-3 two days a week. Hours can be discussed, but would ideally like these hours to be the minimum but also are set to help working families.
Duties
- Manage daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and organisation.
- Handle incoming calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and organise files, both physical and digital, using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Assist in bookkeeping tasks using Xero, including invoicing and expense tracking.
- Support team members with clerical duties as needed.
- Prepare reports and documents as required, demonstrating strong typing skills.
- Coordinate meetings and manage schedules to optimise productivity.
Experience
- Previous office experience is essential, with a focus on administrative roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace is required.
- Familiarity with Xero is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
