Assist Gibraltar finance team with a wide range of financial tasks, mainly related to Gib Oil accounts payable and treasury support
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibility for managing the Gib Oil Accounts Payable processes covering Land and Marine segments
Recording and capturing of inventory purchases for Gibraltar Inventory
Completion of Gib Oil monthly payment runs for Land and Marine segments
Ongoing monitoring of cash balances, liaison with local banks and group Treasury function
Preparation of monthly originating Direct Debit Runs for Gibraltar Land GO Card customers
Responsibility for Fuel Duty submission through Asycuda system and ongoing liaison with Gibraltar
HM Customs for duty related queries
Fuel purchase reconciliations and duty reconciliations for month end closing purposes
Assistance with chasing of local land customer accounts
Other general support as required by the Gib Oil finance team
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work well under pressure and to prioritise effectively
- Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work as part of a wider team
Specific Skills & Knowledge Required:
Candidate must be fluent in English (Verbal and written)
Advanced Spanish communication (verbal and written) is an advantage
Proficiency in using MS Excel (capacity to use functions, features and formulas to organize & analyze data)
Proficiency in using MS Word
Experience with Accounting ERPs (i.e. Oracle) would be advantageous
