Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Yoga Instructor to join our team at our busy Spinal Wellness Centre in Kelso. This position is for a 12-month renewable self-employed contract.
You will be working 1:1 and in small groups with patients who are rehabilitating from spinal injuries and also with patients wanting to improve their core strength, flexibility and balance. Many of our patients are older or have reduced ability and require a patient and friendly approach.
You will be working alongside a highly experienced Doctor of Chiropractic who will perform the initial examination on each patient beforehand. Your ability to work in a team is essential, and your experience and skills in patient management will be important in building a relationship with patients as you guide each patient towards their health goals.
Our clinics are well established over 27 years, with an excellent reputation and thousands of happy, healthy patients. Our clinics house multidisciplinary teams with a wide range of evidence-based treatments offered under the same roof. We feature regular talks and events, and are very involved in the community. Our practices have friendly and supportive Clinic Assistants, up-to-date booking systems, wonderful patients, and a fabulous high-energy vibe.

- Ability to work 1:1 with patients of all ages and levels
- Interest in working as part of a team for patient benefit.
- Good knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics.
- Energetic, with great people skills.
- Passionate about healthy living.
- Smartly dressed and well presented.
- Organised and reliable.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Successful candidates will be asked to supply certificates, professional references, and insurance documents.
Working Hours and Rate of Pay:
We are recruiting for immediate start at our beautiful Kelso (Scottish Borders) clinic, 8-16 hours per week. We would also love you to apply for work at our Edinburgh (Calton) and Edinburgh (Barnton) clinics, an additional 8-16 hours per week.
Rate of pay is £80 per four-hour shift/ £160 per day on a self-employed basis.

- Lovely therapy room overlooking Kelso Abbey, furnished with all necessary equipment.
- All paperwork and procedures supplied.
- Use of online booking system, Secure storage of patient files.
- Front desk cash/card/direct debit fee collection provided.
- Heating, electricity, wi-fi internet access, weekly cleaning.
- Participation in a range of clinic promotions included.
- One-to-one clinical support from our Clinic Director including daily Patient Review meetings.
- Quarterly Practitioners’ meetings for continuing professional development.
