Workshop Assistant – Signs & Graphics Industry
Location: Coalville, Leicestershire
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Starting Salary Minimum Wage –(this will increase)
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm & Friday 8am – 4pm
We're a growing company in the signs and graphics industry, and we’re looking for a practical, reliable, and organised Workshop & Logistics Assistant to support our daily operations.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in keeping things clean and tidy, and is confident using digital tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Booking vans in and out of the workshop using an app on the tablet
- Receiving and checking stock deliveries, ensuring items match delivery notes
- Cleaning and maintaining vans, keeping them presentable and ready for collection
- General workshop cleaning and organisation
- Using a tablet or mobile device to record vehicle movements and deliveries
- Supporting the production and installation teams when required
Requirements:
- Full clean UK driving licence (essential – you’ll be moving vehicles)
- Comfortable using tablets or mobile devices
- Good attention to detail and ability to stay organised
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience in a similar workshop or logistics role
- Familiarity with the signs and graphics industry
