Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on various materials, ensuring strong and precise welds.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools for fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project specifications.
- Fabricate components from sheet metal, ensuring accuracy in measurements and cuts.
- Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while working in the workshop environment.
Skills
- Proficient in MIG welding and techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication processes.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding projects.
- Ability to assemble components accurately based on specifications.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
