Our 53-bed home boasts state-of-the-art amenities, including a coffee shop/bistro, hair and nail salon, beautifully landscaped gardens, and separate dining and lounge areas. We provide exceptional nursing and residential dementia care, supported by advanced care planning and nurse-call technology.

We're looking for aWeekend Cookwho enjoys preparing hearty, home-cooked meals and takes pride in creating a positive dining experience for our residents. This is a great opportunity for someone with cooking experience who wants to work in a friendly, supportive environment.

As a Weekend Cook at Ribble Court, you will:
Prepare and serve nutritious, well-balanced meals that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences.
Support the kitchen team in maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety.
Assist with daily kitchen operations, including food prep, service, and cleaning.
Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth service and consistent quality.
Help manage stock levels, minimise waste, and ensure timely ordering of ingredients.
Engage with residents to gather feedback and enhance their dining experience.

What We're Looking For:
Experience working in a professional kitchen, ideally in a care home or similar setting.
A passion for cooking fresh, home-style meals to a high standard.
A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
A Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification (or willingness to obtain).
A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
