We are looking to recruit an individual to join the Waters Edge Ambassador Team to undertake cleaning duties at the Waters Edge Visitor and Business Centre particularly to cover a weekend (Saturday and Sunday). The role is part time, 6 hours per week.

There is a team of staff who undertake the cleaning on a rota basis. We are seeking an additional team member to ensure that all days are covered to maintain the cleanliness of the Centre.

The role is to provide general cleaning duties including public facing areas cleaning surfaces, floors and furniture, ensuring toilets are kept to an acceptable standard of cleanliness, deep cleaning areas on a rota basis, as well as emptying bins and cleaning kitchen spaces.

The successful applicant should have knowledge and/or experience of cleaning and the use of cleaning materials and equipment. Experience of cleaning in a public environment would be of benefit but not essential as full training will be given.

You should be flexible, a good timekeeper and able to work on your own initiative once tasks are allocated.

On occasion, you may be asked to cover on the Waters Edge Reception Desk to cover a short period of time for staff breaks.

The Centre is located on the banks of the Humber in Barton Upon Humber adjacent the Countryside Park. It is open 7 days a week providing access to the centre, gift shop and cafe.
