WATCHES & PRECIOUS JEWELLERY MARKETING ASSISTANT
Location: CHANEL Head office, London / Boutique
Reports to: W&PJ Marketing Product Manager
Contract: Fixed Term Contract - September - December 2025
Your role @CHANEL:
As part of the Watch & Fine Jewellery Division within the most creative and inspiring Maison, you will be working in collaboration with both the wider W&FJ team and the retail teams.
You will support the Marketing Product Manager in daily marketing activities and be responsible for key pillars of its implementation across a diverse array of areas: from product, training, reporting, analytics to retail support.
What impact you can create at Chanel:
Product Marketing:
  • Support the Marketing Product Manager in building 360° product launch plans, coordinating across departments to ensure smooth execution across the UK region to maximise boutiques performances.
  • Assist with product-related data analysis and reporting, including BI extracts, launch performance, top sellers, and tailored retail insights to provide a tangible vision on business performances.
  • Support adaptation of global launch materials such as pricing lists and product sheets for local adaptation to inform boutiques on our brand positioning.
  • Help maintain and update the W&FJ Marketing Calendar, ensuring all initiatives are clearly tracked and aligned with business timelines as a single source of information for the Marketing team.
  • Propose relevant activations throughout the year to drive sales and support key launches with agility.
  • Coordinate with Media and Press teams to ensure alignment on product-related communications and campaigns for the division strategy relevancy.
  • Assist with the creation of product experience through the end-to-end planning of product launch events across retail, wholesale and internal, including venue research, logistics, on-site coordination, and post-event reporting.
  • Conduct competitor research and report on competitor product events to inspire local activation strategies.
Training:
  • Enhance the retail teams’ selling skills by collaborating with the Marketing Product Manager and Training team to develop and implement the training plan in line with business priorities.
  • Reinforce core product knowledge by creating morning briefs and training modules for W&FJ and Fashion boutiques to support product launches.
  • Lead the planning of the digital learning strategy with the Digital Training Collaborator, ensuring relevance to W&FJ priorities and our learning culture.
Digital Marketing:
  • Support e-Retail and e-Wholesale platform management, including product uploads, campaign updates, and digital branding to ensure consistency across channels (CHANEL.com, Click & Collect…).
  • Celebrate internal successes by writing internal articles to highlight key W&FJ moments and support internal engagement.
  • Assist with digital initiatives for key partners such as Harrods and Selfridges to ensure consistency across product orchestrations.
  • Inspire and suggest new digital ideas to enhance CHANEL’s online presence.
Operational Support:
  • Support budget management through invoice coding and monthly follow-ups with the Marketing team and liaise with Finance to set up new supplier accounts as needed.
  • Responsible for all translation checking across Marketing touchpoints to protect CHANEL UK brand image.
  • Support the Marketing team to maintain a 360º vision by organising monthly team meetings, prepare agendas, and support follow-ups.
What you will bring to the role:
  • Ability to adapt, be agile and remain solution oriented whilst keeping the business pace.
  • Solid experience in data analysis (product, clients, trends) and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience in digital marketing.
  • Have a strong proactive approach towards routine tasks and events coordination.
  • Excellent computer and excel skills, accuracy, and attention to detail (pivot tables, VLOOK ups, etc).
  • Proficient communication skills (written & verbal).
