Hours – Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 16:00pm

We’re currently looking to recruit a Waste Operative who will be responsible for the coordinating and handling of the waste management on our site. Reporting into the Team Leader, you will provide a quality waste management service ensuring that all waste is stored in the correct areas, segregated into the correct waste stream, and ensure excellent housekeeping and recycling as per the correct recycling streams.

In this role you will be required to use and manage baler and compacters aligning with the health and safety rules; you will also be required manage the weighbridge and ensure all paperwork is returned to the factory manager.

As an Apleona Waster Operative, we’re looking for:

• UK Driving Licence
• Counterbalance FLT Licence
• Experience of reading, understanding & producing risk assessments
• Experience of handling waste
• Experience working in a similar type of role and/or environment
• Previous experience of bailing machines
• Physical ability to undertake allmanual work associated with the role
• Maths and English skills, written & oral English to a good standard
