Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to materials management, shipping, and receiving. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring accurate handling of materials.
- Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track stock levels and locations.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including checking deliveries against orders.
- Perform materials handling tasks, including sorting, packing, and preparing items for dispatch.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and maintain cleanliness in the warehouse area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience in construction is beneficial for understanding equipment operations.
