Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service while enjoying their meals. Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a warm welcome.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently.
- Assist with food preparation when necessary, maintaining high standards of food safety.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring all orders are correct.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and utensils.
- Assist with catering events as required, providing excellent service to larger groups.
- Perform bartending duties when needed, mixing drinks according to established recipes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
- A friendly demeanour with a genuine desire to help others enjoy their dining experience.
- Bartending experience is a plus but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
