Duties:
- Provide exceptional guest services by greeting and seating guests, taking orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance the dining experience and increase revenue
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including setting up tables, refilling condiments, and restocking supplies
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, such as slicing bread or preparing salads
- Communicate effectively with both guests and team members to ensure smooth operations
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet service standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members effectively
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills to address guest concerns or issues promptly
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
