Job Description


Baxterstorey is seeking a friendly and efficient Waiter/Hospitality Assistant to join our team in London, United Kingdom. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

  • Welcome and seat guests in a warm and professional manner
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
  • Serve meals and drinks with attention to detail and presentation
  • Maintain a clean and tidy dining area, including tables and service stations
  • Respond promptly to guest enquiries and requests
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for events or functions
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues as needed

Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
  • Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to high standards of service
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and drinks
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing payments
  • Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work in London, United Kingdom
