Job Description:
Are you a warm, outgoing person with a passion for bringing joy to others? Do you have a few spare hours a week and a big heart for the elderly? We're looking for a local volunteer to lead fun, meaningful activities at our small, friendly care home.
We are seeking someone who can bring fresh energy, creativity, and consistency—someone who truly loves to engage and entertain!
About the role:
- 1–3, or even 5 days a week (flexible)
- Lead simple activities like games, music, arts & crafts, quizzes, reminiscence sessions, gentle movement, etc.
- Bring new ideas to help our residents smile, laugh, and stay stimulated
- Be a cheerful, reliable presence in their week
What we’re looking for:
- Local to the area
- Outgoing, proactive, kind-hearted
- Passionate about working with the elderly
- Committed and reliable, with free time weekly
- Must have a valid DBS check
- Experience with elderly people is a plus, but not essential—just bring your energy and heart!
This is a volunteer position, but the rewards are priceless—laughter, gratitude, and the joy of connection (please, note that the £0.01 amount was put as couldn't be left blank however this is 100% volunteer position).
