Agency and Role Overview: Spa Communications is an award-winning PR, social media and creative content marketing agency based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. As a B2B tech agency, we support clients working across AI, data centres, renewables, and sustainable technologies with publicity campaigns and integrated comms programs.
As the company continues its upward growth trajectory, we’re looking for a creative, hardworking and talented video editor to work with our Multimedia Production Manager to provide support across several key areas.
This role is ideal for a university student looking to undertake their “year in industry” placement; a postgraduate looking for their first agency role; a video apprentice; or a freelance videographer looking to hone their editing skills in a fast-paced agency environment.
Key responsibilities: To edit longform and shortform video content, including podcast episodes, social media content, and promotional material.
- Operate Spa communications’ in-house multimedia production suite/podcast studio, including camera and sound equipment (training will be provided).
- Distribute, monitor, and report on podcast series and paid advertising campaigns.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, meeting relevant deadlines.
- Provide project updates to Multimedia Production Manager, Account Managers, Directors & Clients.
Skills:
- Must be proficient with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, or similar video editing software.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively both internally and with clients.
- Audio editing and sound design experience preferred but not essential.
- Creative mind, able to bring new ideas and ways of working to the table.
- Video shoot experience including cameras, lighting, and sound equipment.
- Active interest in podcasts is advantageous but not essential.
