Job Description
We have an opportunity for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join Heritage Dental Practice in Weymouth.
No previous dental experience is needed for this role. If you have a genuine interest in health and well-being, are passionate about delivering great service, and looking for a career where you can learn, grow and develop, then this could be a perfect fit for you.
- Full-time hours, 35 hours per week available over 4 days - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
- Typical shifts are 7.45am-5.30pm
- Training supported by our highly experienced team - your course will be overseen by an external course provider and is fully funded by PortmanDentex
At this friendly 3-surgery practice, we care for private patients. You’ll work alongside Implantologists and Hygienists in this beautiful and well-equipped practice. Why not come and join our wonderful team?

About you
We welcome your application to our Trainee Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above are essential to undertake the course
- Enjoy working as part of a team, and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care
- Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair-side assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session
- Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures
