We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Traffic Marshall who holds valid Sia security license to oversee and manage the flow of vehicles and pedestrians in designated areas. The ideal candidate will ensure safety and efficiency while maintaining clear communication with drivers and pedestrians. This role is crucial for facilitating smooth operations in busy environments, such as construction sites, events, or public gatherings.
Responsibilities
- Direct traffic flow to ensure safety for both vehicles and pedestrians.
- Communicate effectively with drivers to provide clear instructions and guidance.
- Monitor the surrounding environment to identify potential hazards or issues.
- Build rapport with team members and the public to foster a cooperative atmosphere.
- Report any incidents or irregularities to the appropriate authorities promptly.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times while on duty.
Experience
- Previous experience in traffic management or a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
- Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with team members and the public.
- A valid driving licence is preferred, enabling flexibility in moving between locations if necessary.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with various stakeholders.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions when required.
