About Roofing Supplies are the leading family owned, independent roofing and building materials supplier in the South East.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trade Counter Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team at our Esher Branch, KT10.
The ideal candidate will support various trade operations, ensuring efficient communication and organisation throughout the process. This role is perfect for individuals who possess strong time management skills and are eager to contribute to our success.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination of trade activities, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients, both in person and over the phone, maintaining a high standard of phone etiquette.
- Support the sales team by providing necessary information and assisting in selling activities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to trade operations.
- Engage with clients in both English and Spanish, facilitating clear communication across diverse groups.
- Utilise basic maths skills for calculations related to trade transactions and inventory management.
- Raising Sales Orders, Purchase Orders & Quotations.
Skills
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure deadlines are met consistently.
- Basic maths skills for handling numerical data accurately.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on professional phone etiquette.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new processes within the trade environment.
Working hours:
7am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday
8.00am - 12pm on alternate Saturdays
28 Days Annual Leave (including all Public Holidays)
