We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader on our night shift that can lead from the front. Working for our customer Premier Foods based at our Tamworth site. You will be responsible for ensuring all colleagues within the team are trained in their respective tasks, adhering to QHSE rules and procedures whilst meeting or exceeding operational requirements within the contract.

We have a full-time, permanent position working on our 3 on 3 off shift pattern, working 18:00 – 06:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of £31,969.56 per annum, and 22 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Team management: developing, leading and motivating your people to achieve challenging operational KPIs
  • You’ll lead the team on health & safety, showing good working practices, as you’ll be responsible for keeping all our operational processes fully compliant whilst keeping your people safe
  • You’ll actively manage your available resource, and utilise staff where possible
  • Maintain a constant presence within the warehouse delivering shift briefs
    and preparing handovers

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Experience in leading a team within a fast-paced operation of FMCG, automation and multi-channel
  • Experience of working to agreed targets and managing a small team
  • Well-versed in warehouse management systems
  • Good working knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation
