The Paragon School, Bath is currently seeking dedicated, professional, and flexible KS1 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant, happy school in September or October. Working 35 hours per week (37 hours including lunch) Monday to Friday 08:15 to 15:45.
The Teaching Assistant has a key role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of the children. The roles will provide whole class assistance, supporting teaching staff in delivering exceptional teaching and learning across a range of subjects and helping to provide a stable, secure and supportive environment in the classroom. There will also be some intervention work involved, taking small groups for booster activities in numeracy and literacy. The successful candidate will have high levels of literacy and numeracy, supported by relevant experience working with children in a classroom setting. The ability to contribute to the wider aspects of the school life would be an advantage.
The Paragon is an independent, co-educational day school based in a beautiful Georgian house a mile from the centre of Bath. Catering for more than 250 children aged three to 11, we offer a broad curriculum taught in small classes by teachers with a real passion for their subject.
Paying £12.55 per hour, £18,141 per annum
