Justteachers is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Harrogate. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and make a real difference in children's education and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support to teachers and pupils, including small group and one-to-one interventions.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities.
- Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Contribute to the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, or previous experience working in a primary school setting.
- Experience supporting children with SEN is highly desirable.
- A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach to working with children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one through Justteachers.

Pay: £90.00-£115.00 per day
