Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruiter (Internal & External) to join our HR team at Mallaghan Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for both internal and external roles, ensuring we attract and retain top talent aligned with our company values and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and role requirements.
- Draft and post internal and external job advertisements across relevant platforms.
- Screen applications, shortlist candidates, and coordinate interviews.
- Conduct initial interviews and support hiring managers throughout the selection process.
- Maintain and update the internal recruitment tracker and candidate database.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience from application to onboarding.
- Promote internal mobility and career development opportunities.
- Provide feedback to candidates and manage communications professionally.
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with company policies and employment legislation.
- Support employer branding initiatives and internal communications related to recruitment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within both internal and external settings. Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
- Knowledge of employment law and recruitment compliance.
- CIPD qualification or working towards (desirable).
