Support Worker - Supported Living - Autism and Learning Disabilities

A full-time, support worker with Seeds Care, working 45 hours per week, with 2 sleeps can expect to earn between £29,500- £30,500 PLUS ENHANCED BANK HOLIDAY RATES AND AVAILABLE OVERTIME HOURS.
Our personalised supported living and outreach service for people (16-65) with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs is currently searching for multiple people to help enhance our excellent team.
We have vacancies across the following roles:
- Full Time (45 hours)
- Part Time (22.5 - 37.5 hours)

We are happy to interview those who are new to care and looking for a new career, however, we would also love to hear from applicants who have experience with:
- Learning Disabilities
- Autism and /or Asperger’s
- Providing structure and consistent boundaries
- Supporting independence and daily living skills, as well as community-based activities
- Supporting effective social communication
- Experience with challenging behaviour
- Knowledge of positive behaviour support
Desirable skills:
- Experience with non-verbal communication
- Experience working with ADHD
- Competent, confident and proactive with lone working
- Understanding the impact of Trauma
Successful applicants will be able to work on a flexible basis, with shifts including, short and long days, every other weekend, waking nights and sleep ins.
