Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our establishment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional growth.
- Manage inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, complying with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with management to develop menus and implement new recipes or specials.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of food production, waste, and staff performance.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
- Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is required.
- Experience in team management, demonstrating effective leadership skills.
- Previous roles in food production or kitchen environments are highly advantageous.
- Background in serving or barista experience will be considered a plus.
