We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Oversee daily operations within the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring efficient food preparation and service.
- Manage and train staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen.
- Coordinate food production schedules to meet service demands while minimising waste.
- Assist in menu planning and development, utilising culinary expertise to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback with professionalism, ensuring a high level of hospitality.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as necessary.
Skills
- Proven experience in supervising roles within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong culinary skills with a background in food preparation and cooking.
- Excellent leadership abilities, capable of motivating and guiding a diverse team.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Experience in kitchen management, including food production processes.
- Familiarity with barista techniques is advantageous for establishments offering coffee services.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff and customers alike.
