Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Team Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every sandwich is crafted to perfection. As a Sandwich Artist , you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality products to our customers while maintaining excellent food safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to standard recipes and customer specifications.
- Ensure all food safety guidelines are strictly followed during food preparation and handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist with inventory management / audits, plus ensuring that ingredients are stocked and fresh.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, including upselling menu items when appropriate.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and timely service.
- Handle basic maths for measuring ingredients and processing orders accurately.
- Support the team during busy periods by managing time effectively and prioritising tasks.
- We provide crucial food safety training including Allergen Awareness, and we can provide funding for Level 1 & Level 2 Food Saftey Qualifications from Subway.
- Progression within the company available for Daily operations to Store Management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a quick service restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and order processing.
- A friendly demeanour with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Willingness to help colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Pay: £7.60-£15.31 per hour
