Overview
This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels by ensuring stock is properly recorded, stored, and replenished. The successful candidate will support efficient operations by tracking stock movements and collaborating with other departments to meet both customer and business requirements. A valid Counterbalance licence is essential, and an Aisle Master licence is highly desirable.
The shift of work will be 10:00 - 18:00.
Duties
- Receipt, unload, and unpack product, ensuring that all items are checked against delivery notes.
- Organise stock within the warehouse, maintaining a neat and tidy appearance throughout.
- Assist in stock management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restocking processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong organisational abilities to maintain an orderly stock rotation and shop floor.
- Familiar with Hand-held scanners
- Previous experience in a stock control /stock management role is preferred but not essential.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork is essential.
- FLT - Valid Counterbalance Licence is essential.
- FLT - Valid Aisle Master Licence is preferred although not essential.
