EXPERIANCED STEEL FABRICATOR/FITTER-15PH-LONG TERM WORK-URGENTLY NEEDED!
About the Role:
We are looking for a experienced Steel Fabricator & Fitter to join our team on a long-term project based in Blackburn. The successful candidate will work on-site and occasionally off-site during installation phases. You must be confident working independently and take full ownership of the fabrication and fitting process from drawings to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication of steel components using MAG drilling and MIG welding
- Working with Press Brake, CNC Plasma, and other fabrication equipment
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Measuring up and fabricating accurately from drawings
- Fitting and installation of fabricated components (2 days per week)
- Operating safely and efficiently, including manual handling of heavy materials
Requirements:
- Proven experience in MIG welding and fabrication
- Skilled in using MAG drills, press brake, and CNC plasma
- Ability to work from technical drawings and take initiative
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Forklift Licence
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
- Commitment to quality and safe working practices
