What Hi-Fi? is the world's leading hi-fi and home cinema buying guide. We deliver expert, impartial news, reviews, features and advice across a huge range of audio and video products, including TVs, speakers, turntables and headphones.

What you'll be doing

We need a skilled and driven digital journalist who has an interest in consumer technology and knows how to write expert and entertaining articles that help people make important buying decisions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for writing in-depth reviews of hi-fi and audio products, along with features on how to use them, as well as news, deals and opinion pieces.

The staff writer will have excellent organisational and time-management skills, a talent for writing sharp, high-quality content, a knowledge and interest in SEO, social media and ecommerce, as well as the ability to adapt quickly while working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

  • An interest in the consumer audio and hi-fi market and enthusiasm to learn more (training will be provided)
  • Can explain complex subjects in a clear and entertaining way
  • Interpret and use audience data to inform content strategy
  • Experience with SEO and ecommerce
