An exciting opportunity has arisen to join The Yorkshire Speechie Limited, an independent speech and language therapy service based in West Yorkshire.
We are looking to hire a passionate and friendly Speech and Language Therapist to support our paediatric caseload within clinic and the option for alternative/additional days within schools.
The ideal candidate will have experience providing services within a clinic setting providing assessment and therapy, and be comfortable managing their own caseload. We take pride in ensuring that our therapists feel supported and confident in delivering support so focus heavily on CPD.
This role is up to 2 days per week, term time only or full time depending on the ideal candidate's preference.
Job responsibilities:
- To deliver therapeutic services to children and young people including therapy and assessment
- To take notes and keep records of the therapeutic services provided
- Complete written reports and/or therapy programmes
- To communicate with stakeholders (clinical lead/ supervisors/ colleagues, school staff, parents etc) as appropriate, in order to support the needs of the child or young person
- To provide training to school staff, parents and caregivers surrounding appropriate Speech and Language Therapy provisions
- Participate in weekly supervision/ CPD opportunities. This may include article sourcing/ reading, online training modules and research.

Essential criteria:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- Experience of conducting SaLT assessments in schools.
- Experience of delivering assessment and therapy within a clinic
Please note that we will decline applications that do not meet the essential criteria. We are not able to offer overseas support, it is preferred that the candidate is currently located in West Yorkshire.
