The Clinical Lead Dietitian is a highly skilled clinician who provides clinical leadership for the Dietetic Team across The Oxfordshire Stroke Rehabilitation Unit (OSRU). The Clinical Lead Dietitian will promote evidence-based practice and will have a high level of clinical expertise in nutrition support and dysphagia. They will lead on training linking to developing staff in this specialist area. They will develop and lead on the dietetic provision for the Oxfordshire Stroke Rehabilitation Unit.
They will manage a complex caseload of patients, providing high quality care, which is appropriate, cost effective and efficient.The post holder will be responsible for the management, development and supervision of dietitians within their team, and work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. They participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of policies, protocols and guidelines which are relevant to the Oxfordshire Stroke Rehabilitation Unit.
