We support our clients across domestic gas, commercial gas, renewables, and electrical services. Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Gas Engineer to join our growing team as a Soft-Fix Gas Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- To achieve a first-time soft fix, when possible, over the phone
- Accurately record the results of the soft-fix
- To minimise costs by ordering parts for first-time fix
- To maintain customer satisfaction
- Scrutinize incoming work for possible soft fixes that could be carried out
- Provide tablet support and training to field engineers
- Provide technical support and training for office staff
- Report on final figures at month end for soft-fix jobs
- Carry out soft-fix training/introduction to heating systems and components for office staff
- Carry out basic training for field engineers (job stock and tablet usage)
- Ensure that your actions put the safety of other employees and or residents first
- Proactively seek to improve Customer Service and process
Working Hours & Schedule
This role involves flexible shift work across five days per week, including Saturdays and Sundays, based on your availability, there will be a fair and balanced rotation.
- Shift times: 10am-6pm
The successful candidate will have
- Valid ACS & other relevant gas qualifications
- Experience within Social Housing
- Extensive experience working in the field within Domestic Gas
- Experience delivering high levels of customer service
- The ability to work with a diverse customer base
- Must be available to work 2 weekends per month (or equivalent with time off in lieu)
