Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of landscaping techniques and the ability to operate various tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and weeding
- Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Install and repair irrigation systems
- Assist with garden design and layout
- Conduct groundskeeping duties including debris removal and leaf blowing
- Operate power tools and equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
- Build structures such as fences, pathways, and retaining walls
- Use hand tools for digging, planting, and other manual tasks
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field preferred
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques and best practices
- Ability to operate power tools and equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated.
