SIA Security Officer

Hourly Rate: From £12.31 per hour
About the Role
VIP Security (Essex) Ltd is seeking a competent and professional SIA-licensed Security Officer to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be well-presented, possess excellent observational skills, and demonstrate a proactive approach to preventing incidents such as theft, vandalism, or other criminal behaviour.
We are looking for individuals who are punctual, reliable, and eager to contribute to a high-standard working environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Patrol premises regularly to ensure safety and order
- Monitor and control access to the premises for vehicles and individuals
- Remove unauthorised persons from the site when necessary
- Ensure all entry and exit points are secure
- Complete and submit accurate incident and patrol reports
Requirements
- Valid SIA Licence
- ACT Awareness and ACT Security Certificates
- First Aid Certificate
- Strong attention to detail
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Good understanding of security procedures and public safety regulations
