This is an exciting opportunity to be at the front line of engagement with victims of Serious Sexual Assault.

As a member of the SOLO Team, you will be helping support victims through the reporting process all the way to court, providing the vital link between the victim and the investigating officer. Ensuring that every opportunity is taken to capture evidence through scene preservation, forensic examination and statement taking.

The SOLO team covers the whole force and we work in conjunction with a wide variety of departments.

It’s an essential criteria to have computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; confident at intermediate level with an aptitude/willingness to learn new systems/technology and also have a good standard of Literacy with experience of writing reports.

You must have capability to travel across the Force is required in order to undertake assignments in a timely manner and work flexibly. Due to unsocial hours and personal safety for lone working public transport may not be suitable. For this reason a full driving licence is considered essential for this role.

The successful applicant will be expected to undertake the established psychological screening process.

The residency requirement is necessary to enable all applicants to be checked in an equitable manner.
