Role Overview:
Principal purpose of role
- Ensure that the public facing areas of The Lost Gardens of Heligan are clean, tidy, & safe, providing a welcoming environment for visitors
- Ensure that staff spaces are clean and tidy, and that bins are emptied
- Monitor side-wide waste bins and ensure that they are emptied regularly, taking waste to a central point on site for disposal in the correct bins
Area of responsibility/tasks
Cleaning
Clean and maintain the public toilet areas of site, ensuring that dispensers are replenished, any damage is reported, and that the areas are checked and cleaned throughout the day.
Refuse
Monitor all waste bins across site, making sure they are emptied regularly and that waste is taken to the central area for disposal
Assist with keeping the central services area clean and tidy, ensuring rubbish is separated correctly, carboard baled, and food waste processed.
